On Wednesday at Allan Border Field, our Redlands KFC T20 Max lost their match against Valley KFC T20 Max on a frustrating day.
Valley KFC T20 Max batted first and reached 7/156 from 20 overs. The hosts' best was a half-century from Patrick Cotter, who made 57. James Pullar was the pick of our bowlers with three for 30.
In reply, we finished on 132 from 18.5 overs. Carter Pearson batted well for 27 off 25 balls with three fours. Jimmy Peirson contributed 27 off 19 balls. For our opponents, Benji Floros took four for 20 off 3.5 overs.
There were some good individual efforts to build on. A tough stretch, and one the boys will be determined to end.
We'll go again.
