At Baxter Oval, our Redlands Mens 1st Grade came up short against Ipswich Mens 1st Grade in Mens Competitions.
Our totals were 10/135 and 9/239, against Ipswich Mens 1st Grade's 10/168. Take a bow, Brayden Laffan: a brilliant 102 off 170 balls with eight fours. Noah Emmerson was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with four for 21. Paul Nasser picked up four for 57 for the hosts.
James Pullar bowled cleverly for a five-wicket haul, five for 54 off 13.3 overs. Jack Jarvis was the hero with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul (five for 75). Mikey McNamara was the top scorer for our opponents with 30. Emmerson chipped in with 30 for the hosts.
There were some classy individual efforts to build on. That's two losses in a row, but the team will keep working hard.
On to the next one.
