It was a satisfying day for our Redlands Mens 1st Grade, who beat Sunshine Coast Mens 1st Grade on Saturday at Peter Burge Oval.
Sunshine Coast Mens 1st Grade made 10/218, and we made 10/246. Jack Jarvis's 54 off 61 balls was a half-century to remember. Damyn Waddups chipped in with 41. James Bazley also got among the runs with 39 off 39 balls. Chad Soper took a five-wicket haul for our opponents, finishing with five for 73.
Lachlan McClure finished with five for 24, a five-wicket haul to savour. James Pullar also took two for 70. Tom ENGELBRECHT passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 59.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Congratulations to the side on a great result.
