Good news from our Redlands Mens 1st Grade, who took the honours against Toombul Mens 1st Grade for a great result.
Toombul Mens 1st Grade set the target, making 174 from 45 overs. Credit to Tobias Snell, who made a half-century (58) for our opponents. Jack Sinfield was the pick of our bowlers with three for 32. James Bazley backed up well, taking two for 27.
In reply, the side reached the target at 1/180 in 21.5 overs. Sam Heazlett was the star with the bat, compiling a brilliant 116 not out off 71 balls with ten fours and eight sixes.
Our bowlers made sure the visitors didn't bat out their overs. That's a third straight win. Onwards and upwards.
