It was a disappointing outing for our Redlands Mens 2nd Grade, who were unable to get the better of Northern Suburbs Mens 2nd Grade on a day that didn't go our way.
Batting first, we were all out for 204 in 49.2 overs. Jasper Sumner made an excellent 59 off 91 balls, a well-made fifty. Bentley Martin made 28 off 72 balls. Flynn Thomasson returned three for 41 for Northern Suburbs Mens 2nd Grade.
In reply, the visitors passed our total, finishing on 6/208 in 40.5 overs. Aaron Joby passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 76 not out.
Credit to the visitors, who played well. That's two losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard.
Well played to our opponents.
