There was plenty to celebrate as our Redlands Mens 2nd Grade accounted for Sunshine Coast Mens 2nd Grade in a polished team performance.
Our totals were 10/272, against Sunshine Coast Mens 2nd Grade's 4/153. Brayden Laffan posted a half-century, making 83 off 140 balls with thirteen fours. Will Souter's 76 not out off 130 balls was a half-century to remember. Credit to Lleyton Chick, who took three for 41 for our opponents.
Ely Robertson was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 36 off seven overs. The hosts' best was a half-century from Trent Riddell, who made 65.
Revenge, of sorts: our opponents had won our previous meeting this season.
Onwards and upwards.
