It was a cracking day for our Redlands Mens 2nd Grade, who secured a win against Sunshine Coast Mens 2nd Grade.
Over the course of the match we totalled 10/356, and Sunshine Coast Mens 2nd Grade 10/279. Chase Rodgers was the star with the bat, compiling a superb 132 off 158 balls with ten fours and four sixes. Take a bow, Decklin Ross: a cracking 123 off 171 balls with twelve fours and two sixes. Credit to Jack Geldard, who claimed a five-wicket haul (five for 97) for the visitors. Samuel Gardiner finished with three for 58 for our opponents.
Henrik Frederiksen picked up two for 19 off eleven overs. Locke Robinson made a fine 102 for the visitors, a century worth applauding.
It was a superb all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Congratulations to the team on a terrific result.
