It was one to learn from for our Redlands Mens 2nd Grade, who were unable to get the better of Toombul Mens 2nd Grade on a day to learn from.
Toombul Mens 2nd Grade's innings closed at 8/213 from 50 overs. Alex Walduck posted 71 not out for the hosts, a classy fifty. Jasper Sumner returned figures of two for 33 off nine overs.
Our chase ended at 133 from 38.1 overs. The top score came from Bentley Martin, who made 40 off 62 balls. Jackson Todman made 29 off 62 balls. Jordan Cabot was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 11.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
We'll go again.
