Our Redlands Mens 2nd Grade side fell to Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade at Peter Burge Oval.
We posted 10/223, while Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade made 2/284. Take a bow, James Catlow-Elliott: a great 108 off 160 balls with ten fours and five sixes. Jasper Sumner made a brilliant 63 not out off 189 balls, a well-made fifty. Credit to Ben Marsden, who took three for 47 for the visitors.
Jordan Kingdon made a polished 149 not out for our opponents, a century worth applauding.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
