Our Redlands Mens 3rd Grade had to settle for a loss as they fell short against Gold Coast Mens 3rd Grade on a day that didn't go our way.
We finished on 9/181, with Gold Coast Mens 3rd Grade on 9/182. William Whatmore played a good hand of 49 off 57 balls. Sree Rayirth Prabhas Bachu chipped in with 33. Prince Lucky was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with three for 40.
Hudson Izzard made a fine 52 not out for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. Zach Wolfik picked up two for 12 off four overs. Brandon Shailer finished with two for 26.
Credit to our opponents, who played well.
The boys will be keen to bounce back.
