Our Redlands Mens 3rd Grade had to settle for a loss as they were unable to stop Valley Mens 3rd Grade in a tough outing.
First up, Valley Mens 3rd Grade made 172 from 38.4 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Samuel Healy, who made 50. Riley Eckersley finished with five for 27, a five-wicket haul to savour.
In reply, the team were all out for 109 in 27.3 overs. Mitchell Drennan made a valuable 38 off 43 balls. The hosts' best with the ball was William Easter (four for 29).
There were some classy individual efforts to build on.
Chins up, everyone.
