Our Redlands Mens 4th Grade had to settle for a loss as they couldn't get past Gold Coast Mens 4th Grade away from home on Saturday.
We posted 10/295, while Gold Coast Mens 4th Grade made 4/307. A classy 64 off 112 balls from Matt Fay was the highlight. Aadit Bagul posted a half-century, making 62 off 68 balls with ten fours and one six. There were also handy runs from Jake Matthews (41). Tirth Patel did the damage for the hosts with three for 52.
Credit to Zak Patel, who made a century (122) for our opponents. Hats off to Leo Davies, whose 100 was a fine century for the hosts.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
The boys will be keen to bounce back.
