It was a day to regroup for our Redlands Tigers 2 Over 40's, who fell short against University of QLD Over 40's on a tough day.
University of QLD Over 40's set the target, making 3/301 from 35 overs. Fifty for Jeremy Schultz, who made 52 for the hosts. Credit to Cameron Boyd, who made a half-century (52) for our opponents.
In reply, we finished on 8/122 from 35 overs. Aaron GARRAD led the way with 26 off 79 balls with four fours. David Tobin claimed four for 15 for the hosts.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's two defeats on the trot, and the team will be eager to bounce back. Well played to our opponents.
