It was a terrific day for our Redlands Tigers Green, who beat WSDCC Open Womens on home soil.
Batting first, WSDCC Open Womens posted 150 from 34.1 overs. Isabella Hofmeister was the main threat for our opponents, making 26. Ruwenthika Nithyananthan bowled superbly to finish with three for 38.
In reply, the side reached the target at 3/151 in 27.1 overs. Georgia Williams passed fifty on the way to 84 not out off 89 balls with eleven fours.
Bowling the visitors out proved decisive. That's our first win of the season on the board.
Well done to everyone involved.
