In Brisbane Women's Competition, our Redlands Tigers Women's Open were bested by Valley District Open Women in one to put behind us.
Batting first, we were all out for 117 in 33.2 overs. Leading the way was Amreen Batth with 25 off 56 balls. Georgina Peters was the main threat for Valley District Open Women, taking three for 21.
The hosts reached the target at 0/119 in 20 overs. Peters made 31 for our opponents.
A tough day at the office, but one to learn from.
We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
