There was no joy for our Redlands Mens 4th Grade, who fell to Western Suburbs Mens 4th Grade at Katherine Raymont Oval.
In terms of totals, it was Redlands Mens 4th Grade 10/123 and Western Suburbs Mens 4th Grade 10/132 and 1/115. Brandon Shailer led the way with 24 off 67 balls with three fours. Parikshit Chaudhary also got among the runs with 20 off 52 balls. Nikhil Sharma bowled beautifully for our opponents, a seven-wicket haul of seven for 38.
Five wickets for William Whatmore, who returned five for 32 off fourteen overs. Shailer also took three for 25. Murphy Veraa made a quality 56 not out for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century. Fifty for Luke Mayer, who made 55 for our opponents.
Credit to the hosts, who played well.
The side will be keen to bounce back.
