Despite some good moments, our Redlands Mens 4th Grade came up short against Northern Suburbs Mens 4th Grade on a day to learn from.
Our innings: 8/284. Northern Suburbs Mens 4th Grade's: 6/344. Take a bow, Krrish Whala: a brilliant 100 off 182 balls with twelve fours. Matt Fay weighed in with 43 off 59 balls. Methuka Wickrama bowled well for the visitors, taking three for 71. Our opponents also got three for 82 from Thomas Stevenson.
A five-wicket haul to Joshua Claude Millard, who finished with five for 48 off 10.4 overs. Wickrama made a fine 200 for the visitors, a century worth applauding.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
It's six defeats on the trot, and the boys will be eager to bounce back. We'll go again.
