It was a tough day out for our Redlands Tigers Women's Open, who fell to Gold Coast Dolphins in Brisbane Women's Competition.
First up, Gold Coast Dolphins made 4/222 from 35 overs. Paige Simpson made a stylish 50 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Lily Flemming led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 30. Georgia Rada added two for 58.
Our chase ended at 8/113 from 35 overs. Evie Massingham brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 78 not out off 88 balls. The hosts' best with the ball was Aanya Sudame (three for 1).
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. Chins up, everyone.
