It was a tough day out for our Redlands Tigers Women's Open, who were undone by Holland Park Open Women on Sunday in Brisbane Women's Competition.
Batting first, Holland Park Open Women posted 2/240 from 35 overs. A century to Heidi Gough for our opponents: 100. Harper-Lee Chard weighed in with 30 for the visitors.
Chasing 241, we reached 7/180 from 35 overs. Evie Massingham brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 86 not out off 66 balls. Sukhmin kaur Batth chipped in with 28.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
