It was a tough day out for our Redlands Mens 5th Grade, who were denied by Western Suburbs (1) Mens 5th Grade on Saturday.
The scorecard reads Redlands Mens 5th Grade 10/103, Western Suburbs (1) Mens 5th Grade 186 and 0/5. Leading the way was Ben Gahan with 29 off 107 balls. Liam McGrath was the main threat for the visitors, taking three for 16. There were three for 30 for Tyler Heness.
Gahan grabbed three for 33. Jake Pratt finished with two for 7. Mark Watson made a stylish 66 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Well played to the visitors.
