It was smiles all round as our Redlands Mens 4th Grade knocked over Gold Coast Mens 4th Grade to make it four wins in a row.
Gold Coast Mens 4th Grade batted first and were all out for 218 in 40 overs. Oliver Lum posted 64 for our opponents, a fine fifty. Luke Ward added 47 for the hosts. Brandon Shailer starred with the ball, taking three for 51. There were also wickets for Ben Gahan (two for 41).
In reply, the side reached the target at 6/222 in 38.3 overs. Jackson Williams made a terrific 69 off 76 balls, a well-made fifty. Aadit Bagul contributed 42 off 51 balls. Credit to Sheldon Lowndes, who took three for 57 for our opponents.
Our bowlers led the way on the day. It was a good way to turn the tables on the hosts, who beat us last time we met.
A day to enjoy for everyone at Redlands Tigers.
