Our Redlands Tigers Green had to settle for a loss as they had to give best to Norths Open Womens.
Norths Open Womens batted first and put 4/206 on the board from 35 overs. Our opponents' best was a half-century from Yahvi Singh Bisht, who made 85 not out. Saipriyaa Pichumani bowled beautifully to finish with two for 37.
Needing 207 to win, we finished on 4/189 from 35 overs. Abbie Neale brought up a stylish half-century, finishing with 61 off 65 balls. Kirra Greatorix posted a half-century, making 58 off 83 balls with four fours.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. The results haven't gone our way lately, but the team will keep at it.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
